The Chinese seasonals almanac treats January as part of the winter nodes, so spring starts in February. Even then, there’s still a lot of snow at this point – attributions to plant life won’t appear until the 6th node of spring.
I didn’t plan for Adhara to evoke Amaterasu here, but hey, the amount of daylight does affect how the seasons progress.

Ha! Spring in February. Winter for me lasts until... late May. If I'm lucky.
Those snowflakes!!! They're so unique! Who paints snowflakes in purple and gold and still manages to make them look like snowflakes?! This is going to be a fun series.
One thing you may want to watch out for, because you've had your art stolen in the past -- that watermark is so beautiful that it looks like it's part of the painting, and is unlikely to discourage thieves.
But you probably already thought of that.
